About the Council

The London Borough of Havering has 54 Councillors. Following the election on 6 May 2010, the political make up of the Council is:

Residents' Group 12
Labour Group 5
Independent Residents' Group 4

Corporate Management Team

The management of the Council's services is the responsibility of the Corporate Management Team led by the Chief Executive. Other members include three Group Directors and the Assistant Chief Executive, each of whom has a specific responsibility for a particular portfolio of Council services. The focus for our future is to continue and accelerate improvement as change continues at a pace.
